2025 Events

Friday, February 14

5-6PM - Special Tu BiShvat activity for kids at the Bilows. In honor of the holiday, we will fill clay pots and plant seeds while Rabbi Mark tells us stories about why this holiday is special. Please rsvp to bnaibutte@gmail.com so we know how many pots and plants to provide for the kids. All kids and families are welcome to stay for the shabbatluck immediately following.

6-8PM - Tu BiShvat, the ‘birthday of trees’ – a special Shabbatluck event hosted by Monica and Nathan Bilow, 1018 Brush Creek Road, Crested Butte (in Skyland community). Please bring the family and a generous dish and drinks to share.

Saturday, Feb 15

10:30AM - Kibbitz with the Rabbi Mark Kula @ Daily Dose, 330 Elk Ave, Crested Butte. Stop by, enjoy some coffee or tea and chat with Rabbi Mark about whatever is on your mind!

6:30PM - Dessert and Havdalah – join us as we end the sabbath and begin a new week in the company of others! Please bring a dessert to share.

10:30AM - 12PM - Today’s Torah, Hosted by the Rolfes, 42 Sydney Court, Gunnison. Join us as Rabbi Mark facilitates a lively and inspiring discussion bringing our Torah to life.

We need housing for Rabbi Mark for the nights of Fri 2/14 and Saturday 2/15, please contact us if you are able to provide this – Rabbi is really a wonderful guest!

We invite you to host an activity while Rabbi Mark is here - it's a mitzvah! Very little work or effort needed as members are happy to bring potluck dishes and desserts. We rely on the hospitality of our congregation as we do not have a B’nai Butte facility. As well, we are looking for accommodations for the Rabbi when he visits for each of the months listed on his schedule above.
