3-6PM - B'nai Butte is participating with the Gunnison Congregational Church in the Welcome Week Interfaith Potluck on Sunday, Sept 15, from 3-6PM, sponsored by the City of Gunnison, Gunnison Cultural Connection. We will have a table at Legion Park, 500 E Virginia Ave (between Virginia and Tomichi south of Main St) and we will give away 'Jewish themed' foods. Please join us and volunteer, bring some easily prepared foods (cookies, snacks, etc.) to share and make our presence known as we welcome people of all backgrounds to our valley. HIGH HOLY DAYS 2024
5PM - Erev Rosh Hashanah: Wednesday October 2nd, 2024: Services start at 5pm followed by a potluck dinner at 6:30. Services at the Three River Resort's Pavilion, Almont 130 County Road, Almont CO 81210. This is an inside facility. Please bring a generous dish and drink to share.
9:30AM - Rosh Hashanah Day 1: Join us for our annual Rosh Hashanah hike/services. Meet at Lower Loop parking lot (end of Peanut Lake road) at 9:30am and we will walk to Lower Loop for hike/service (to begin at 10am). Please bring a chair/and or blanket and a picnic lunch. Tashlich will be at Lower loop at 1pm (weather permitting)
Friday, October 4
10AM - Rosh Hashanah Day 2: Services at the Pavilion in Almont (see above for address) at 10am, followed by Potluck lunch at 12noon.
6PM -Erev Yom Kippur. Kol Nidre services to begin at 6 pm at the Pavilion in Almont.
All Services at Three River Resort's Pavilion in Almont. Do a mitzvah and bring some non-perishable food to be donated to the Gunnison Country Food Pantry to any/all services held at the Pavilion.
10am-12:30PM - Services/Shacharit. at the Pavilion
12:30PM - Classes/discussions to follow morning services at about (Topics TBA)
5-6:30PM - Yizkor service,
6:30PM - Ne’ila service,
6:45 PM - Break the fast potluck- please bring a generous dish and drink to share
10AM - Please join us for annual Sukkah building afternoon at the Elfenbeins (149 Zeligman Street- CB South).
